Information about your participation
This study involves people over the age of 18 years and living in Logan.
There are no anticipated risks from being involved. Participation is voluntary and you can decide not to participate or withdraw at any time, without penalty. All information is anonymous and your information cannot be linked to you. No personally identifiable information is recorded.
The survey results will only use summary data – individual results are not available. A summary of results will be available to the public via the website www.logan.qld.gov.au(External link) and newsletters e.g., Community Services Newsletter, Community Engagement Newsletters. Summary results may also be presented in the Logan City Council Annual report, used in media releases, or presented in scientific publications or meetings.
All research data will be kept in password protected electronic files at Griffith University and Logan City Council Sport Leisure & Facilities Branch, and may be used in future research examining possible trends over time.
The ethical conduct of this research
Griffith University conducts research in accordance with the National Statement on Ethical Conduct in Human Research.
