Logan is home to two iconic rivers, the Logan River and the Albert River. We have a variety of wildlife, including:
- 56 species of native mammals
- 273 species of birds
- 58 native reptile species
- 27 native frogs
- Many fish and insect species
24 of these species are state and federally listed threatened species.
