Logan Reserve Plan (and associated planning scheme Land Use Area Amendment)
Share on FacebookShare on TwitterShare on LinkedinEmail this link
Consultation has now concluded
In 2009 the State Government earmarked part of the Logan Reserve area for future urban development and required Council to undertake detailed land use and infrastructure planning. In response, Council prepared a draft plan in 2017 to guide development in the area. The plan considers the environmental and flooding constraints and identifies the preferred dominant land use and indicative road network in the area.
Council first consulted the residents of Logan Reserve on the draft plan between April and June 2017. The feedback received during the consultation was considered and resulted in changes to the plan. The plan was endorsed by Council on 29 August 2017 to guide future development in the area. As a result of these changes, Council is consulting with residents again prior to incorporating the Logan Reserve Plan into the Logan Planning Scheme 2015.
You are now invited to have your say on the revised Logan Reserve plan by 22 October 2018. The Document Library has a number of documents to review which will help you formulation your feedback which can be provided below. You can also find out more about planning scheme amendments onCouncil's website.
All feedback will be reviewed and responded to before the plan is considered by Council and the State Government for adoption and incorporation of the land use area amendment (the plan) into the Logan Planning Scheme 2015.
