Logan Village Green is the central hub of the Logan Village Community. The upgrade, embellishment, and activation of the Logan Village Green was identified as key outcomes from the Logan Village Forum held in 2018. As part of these works, Council is relocating the existing skate park and providing a new facility to the western side of the Village Green. The new facility will provide a high-standard experience for riders of all ages and abilities in a safe and low-risk environment.

Community engagement is a key component of this project, we understand that the existing facility is a much loved and used skate park, and we want to ensure that both the existing users of the park and the wider community have an opportunity to shape the new facility. We have prepared a comprehensive engagement strategy with several methods to ensure your voice is heard, which are listed below.

Skatepark Pop Up - open to the general public

December 9, 2021 - 2pm - 6pm

Location: Village Green Skatepark

Our team will be in attendance at the existing park, ready to discuss our project and our draft concept design.

Online Survey - Draft Concept

The online survey will open on 10th December 2021 and will close 7th January 2022.

Next Steps

Once this stage of the project is complete our team will review comments and feedback from the community - and further refine the concept for the new skate park.

Once this is complete, Council will then update the community.
