Logan City Council is excited to explore the future uses of Ben Matthews Playground - Logan Central - as a space for community.

As part of this process, we invited you to share your ideas and preferences. Ideas gathered through this process will inform a future master plan for the site that benefits our community. You had your say by

  • Completing the survey below to share your ideas for the future.
  • Attending a pop up at the Logan Central Library on Thursday 31 August 2023, from 2.30pm-4.30pm.
  • Attending a pop up at the Logan Central Library on Friday 08 September 2023, from 9.30pm-11.30pm.
  • Attending a sausage sizzle at Ben Matthews Playground on Saturday 9 September 2023, from 11.00am-2.00pm (entry from 47-55 Ellen Street, Logan Central).

Project Update:

Community engagement was undertaken from 24 August 2023 to 10 September 2023. The feedback received during this time indicated the community would like to see the Ben Matthews Playground site more activated and open for all the community to use. You can view a summary of the feedback and engagement results here.

Your feedback will be used to inform a draft masterplan design for the site.
