Would you like to see a mural on the Edens Landing water tower?

Logan City Council is considering creating a large-scale mural on the Edens Landing water tower at HIllside Crescent Parklands. We are keen to know if this is something locals would like to see.

The artwork would align with Council's Arts, Culture and Heritage Strategy 2023-2027 and add to the city's visual appeal for locals and visitors. It would also help build community pride and put Edens Landing on Logan's public art map.

Below is a simple survey where you can have your say.

How would it happen?

If the response is yes, the process in 2024 will be:

  • Council’s Creative Industries team will develop a brief for the water tower mural.

  • We will call for expressions of interest from artists, with a strong preference for talented locals.

  • A panel of experts will create a shortlist of artists who meet the brief. They will then be commissioned to develop a concept for the water tower.

  • The chosen concepts will be shared with the community to gauge preferences. These preferences will then help influence a final decision.

  • The successful mural concept will then be recreated on the water tower.
