Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2023 and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2024, subject to weather conditions.

Construction activities will generally occur from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday to Friday.

We strive to minimise disruptions during the works, but some temporary impacts are unavoidable.

Impacts

• Some areas and pathways may be closed or detoured as needed.
• There may be increased noise, dust, and vibration during construction.
• Temporary loss of some parking spaces at the entrance to Logan Gardens.
• Heavy vehicles present in the area.

Our measures

• Traffic controllers will be available for detours and road/lane closures when necessary.
• Affected residents will receive advance notifications about changes to parking, driveway access, footpath relocation, or temporary interruptions to water, sewer, or power services.

Improved activation, improved access and amenity, improved safety. The project will include:

• A 3–5 m wide trafficable shared zone with bollards and associated landscaping.
• CCTV, lighting and electrical works.
• Landscape embellishments: street furniture, integrated public art, planting and signage.
• Stage 1 car park expansion.
• Priority access for pedestrians, cyclists and scooter users
• Controlled vehicle access points.
• Vehicle speed limit: 10km/h.
