About the project

Logan City Council is building a new 500-metre-long trafficable shared zone and car park in Logan Gardens. The parkway will connect the Civic Parade car park to Rosny Court (off Karri Ave). The project is the first stage of a strategy to provide better access to Logan Gardens as part of the Logan Central Civic and Community Precinct Plan.

During the Logan Central Summit, the community expressed a strong desire for improved activation, amenity (look and feel), and safety of Logan Gardens.

The shared pathway project will provide additional car parking and more equitable access for residents and visitors. It also includes improved lighting and CCTV to improve park safety, as well as improved park facilities.

The project is jointly funded by Council and the Queensland Government through the Local Government Grants and Subsidies Program.
