Logan City Council provides municipal waste collection services to approximately 110,000 households in Logan.
Those services include:
Waste and Recyclable Collection Services (including municipal waste and recyclables collection from residential and commercial premises, kerbside clean up services, waste transfer station servicing (separable), dead animal collection services and collection of waste from public places); and
Recyclables Processing Services (through a Materials Recovery Facility).
The current services are provided to Council under a contract that is due to expire on 3 July 2021.
Council currently intends to call tenders for the purpose of establishing new contracts to continue the services on and from 4 July 2021. Council are in the process of gathering information for analysis of the market for services and would appreciate your contrubution to the questionnaire below.

The aim of this consultation with industry is to seek feedback that may inform Council in the preparation of tender documentation for the renewal of the waste services contract in 2021.

The anticipated timing of the procurement process is expected to be as follows:
Tenders are intended to be called in or about February 2019;
Tenders are intended to close in or about May 2019; and
The Contract is intended to be awarded in or about April 2020.
Preparation of tender documentation is scheduled to commence in or about May 2018.
