Magellan Park
Thank you to everyone who provided feedback on this project.
With your help we have finalised the concept plan for Magellan Park in Springwood.
The scope of works will focus on replacing equipment in the playground. Drainage infrastructure is not part of this project.
Updates to the existing facilities include the following features:
- 3 swings, including one that is universally accessible
- accessible sand digger
- koala rocker
- play cottage
- play structure with 3 slides and climbing net
- rubber and bark soft-fall surfacing
- nature play elements
- new pathways and seating.
This park upgrade will provide fantastic play time for children and families of the Springwood community.
