Looking back: Community Engagement

Thank you for sharing your big ideas for the 2032 Games and beyond!

From Monday 4 September to 2 October, Logan City Council invited the community to share 'big ideas' for the 2032 Games and beyond. Feedback has been collated and is helping Council understand the community priorities before finalising an implementation plan. The community had the opportunity to contribute by sharing ideas or supporting the ideas liked the most, and posting a comment to let the team know what was liked about them.

42 ideas were submitted.

In the next stage, the Legacy Forum, we will look more closely into the Legacy Roadmap, initiatives and opportunities of partnerships between businesses, community organisations and government.

The Legacy Roadmap was developed by Council to guide our ambitions for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. It has 19 initiatives that aim to use the 2032 Games to transform our city for the future. Some initiatives will be Council led, some community led and some industry led.
