Striving for Gold - Logan’s 2032 Games Legacy Forum

The Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games will be a once-in-a-lifetime event that offers the City of Logan an incredible opportunity to inspire and drive positive change.

In May 2025, the City of Logan hosted a legacy forum to harness the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity presented by the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This forum brought together community organisations, businesses, and government agencies to transform the City of Logan Legacy Roadmap (released in September 2023) into a bold and actionable plan that will benefit the community for generations.

The forum aimed to:

  • Review and prioritise initiatives from the Legacy Roadmap
  • Facilitate new ideas and projects for inclusion in the action plan
  • Encourage collaboration across sectors to identify mutually beneficial opportunities
  • Explore ways for ongoing community representation in Council planning

Participants also gained insights from international Games experts, including lessons from Paris, and engaged in visionary discussions to shape Logan’s Olympic and Paralympic legacy.
