The consultation period has now closed. For five weeks in September and October, Council sought feedback on the draft Integrated Local Transport Plan – Way2Go Connecting Logan – to guide and shape Logan’s transport future for the next 25 years. We organised 11 'Talk to the Planner' sessions across the city and encouraged residents to provide their feedback via a number of different channels. Community members who were involved in informing the draft Plan were also invited to submit their feedback.

All submissions and feedback will now be considered before finalising Way2Go Connecting Logan.

We had a great response to the Meadowbrook Summit. Both days were 'booked out' with an engaged mix of people from the Healthcare, University/Education and Investment sectors along with local residents all focused on progressing Meadowbrook as a centre for health, wellbeing and community.

The online survey asking people to pick their top three projects for Meadowbrook created a lot of interest with over 1000 people having a look at the projects and a large percentage of them picking their top three.

The initial consultation period has now closed. This was a very active engagement with close to 1000 people accessing the 'Have Your Say' page to view the project.

Council had three community information stalls that were well attended by the local community allowing face to face discussions about the project.

This facility is needed to service the development corridor which extends from Park Ridge to Yarrabilba. As development progresses and the population increases in this corridor, additional critical infrastructure such as wastewater treatment facilities and trunk pipelines is required.

You can expect Council to conduct more consultation for this project in the future.

The Logan Central Summit held on the 11th of May was a great success with close to 200 people attending the event. The summit facilitated by the team from CoDesign Studio and Logan City Council brought together an impressive list of guest speakers including Cathryn Chatburn from Urban Enquiry, Jim Gleeson from Plan C and Roland Dillon from McKinsey and Co.

Online engagement continued until 4 June 2018 allowing people to share their ideas on the future of Logan Central.

Next to the Logan Central Library at 22 Wilbur St a large volume building has been vacant since 2014. Council is interested in making this a site that could support creative, social and economic activity so we asked the community to 'help us create a place to connect, create and grow'.

As part of the consultation we held an open day so people could come down and see the space to help them visualise what it could become. It was well received with a wide range of ideas being put forward from a diverse group of people.

We closed this consoltation 26 June and are looking forward to seeing the outcomes.
