Welcome to the Vital Venues Project online portal.
Vital Venues is a collaboration of team members working across Logan City Council’s leisure centres and community venues and is aimed at identifying and implementing targeted opportunities to set our venue operations up for success into the future.
Over the past decade the number of venues that Council own and operate has increased significantly, and the expectations of our customers and the Logan community also continue to change and evolve. The Vital Venues project is about taking some time to identify and implement initiatives to ensure that we are evolving too, and are best positioned to deliver great value to the community into the future.
Given that we have a diverse and geographically distributed workforce, this portal has been created as a key communication channel for the project and will provide:
Progress updates
Communications about the project
Information relating to the overall process
Opportunity to provide input, share ideas and ask questions
Having now sought feedback from team members on potential opportunities to improve our service delivery and outcomes for the community, a number of change recommendations have been developed. You can review the change recommendations along with all of the suggestions received in the attached documents. The short video attached also provides a summary of the project to date.

Having sought input from team members on how we could improve the value of our services to the Logan community, a number of draft change recommendations have been developed based on this information (see attached documents). We are keen to get your feedback on these recommendations before any changes are finalised. Please provide any feedback you have by 4 January 2019.
